Queerky.com is a site where the mature, savvy, sage and at times incredibly sarcastic member of the LGBT community can find distraction with a group of like-minded people. Queerky is for those who have moved past the typical dyke drama too often found on websites aimed at our population. We’re an online queer community with a twist: we like to laugh. Queerky is a diverse group: we are lesbians, dykes, bisexuals and transgenders who are single, partnered, monogamous, polyamorous, young, not-so-young and with varied political leanings. If you’ve moved past the drama, on into real life, and are looking for a giggle then Queerky is for you. We’re an intelligent, irreverent and, of course, quirky bunch, but also warm-hearted and welcoming. We come together to discuss the news, alcohol, our navel lint, to find a shoulder to cry on or to otherwise distract ourselves from the tediousness of the day. It’s a place to read articles which enlighten but also amuse. It’s a place to connect. It’s a place to pic whore yourself or your pet. It’s a distraction. It’s not much but it’s better than what you’re supposed to be doing.
