Digital. I haven't shot film in years....

Just got back into my photography swing since I have a new digital I got for christmas.

Haven't moved up to the SLR level yet, but I'm getting pretty decent results with my new camera.

The ferris wheel shot was taken with a 4.1 mp FujiFilm Fine Pix. I've been pretty pleased with what I get from the finepix line of cameras.... :)

A below-the-fountain rock feature out at Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, TX.
Loved the rock formation, the single defined rectangle stacked on a base of lazy parallelograms.

I assume it is the regular group of people who used to post photos. Many of those people have not been able to be as active due to major changes in their lives. We need some new photobugs! Get the word out if you know of anyone who might be interested!

Thanks! Cranbrook has gorgeous gardens and lots of little nooks and crannies with statues and ponds and fountains, etc. I want to go back later in the summer when I formal garden has filled out more; it looked like they'd just planted it when I was there last weekend.

Thank you :) I wish we could, too. Really we're not that crazy far away - but time is always an issue it seems.

I don't know how to use my camera either, I just shoot a lot & try to figure it out - EVERY TIME.

Hmph. I'm starting to wonder if I no longer have the capacity to learn.

I seriously have no idea what anything does. I just twirl the buttons til it does what i want.
