I'm a big no no no to long fingernails too. I do tend to get lazy and let them get too long but never too long, if you know what I mean. I can't stand when they get long enough to hit keys or other things before my finger tips.

I gave my girlfriend 3 nail files for her birthday.

I'll occasionally grow out my nails when single but I keep them short when I'm getting some. Ideally no white should be visible.

I don't mind a sliver of white as they do provide protection to your finger tips. Plus they're occasionally handy to lift off tape and stuff.

To me, the sound and vision of nail filing is worse than fingers on a blackboard. I can't envision a worse present than nail files. I'm getting goose bumps right now - and not in a good way.

I keep 'em short and well groomed. Cuticles oiled and hands lotioned several times a day. I keep a nail trimmer on my key chain cuz I saw another dyke with it and thought it was fricken HOT!

Long or short I don't care as long as they are clean, well cared for, no hangnails and NO NAIL BITERS unless you clean up that mess when you're done nervousing.

I keep mine short, clean and neat.

And I like the feel of longer nails across the skin during sex. However, I'm not a big fan of them inside me unless the person is very good at using them. I got poked once and I'm not eager to repeat the experience.

Heh. No. I'm just really into keeping my nails short & neat. And when the mood strikes me I want to have easy access to the trimmers. I'm a bit obsessive about it. Surprise, surprise.

I am a compulsive nail filer. I keep these tiny boards in my purse, big ones in my pen cup, car and I always have hand lotion on hand.

My problem right now is rings. I have 2 on my right hand I need sized for the left, lol.

Mine: very short, clean, and filed to perfect smoothness. I don't insist that others have theirs as short as I keep mine, but they can't be long enough to cut me either. And they MUST be filed and clean...at least at certain times.

As a mechanic who hates dirt under my nails I'm a compulsive nail biter. for the longest time(read over 6 years) I never used a file/emry board, but I just recently bought a cool one at Sally's ehile getting hair stuff for my daughter. I don't like my partners to have nails either, thanks but no.
