Almost a year ago, I did this quiz elsewhere...and I know a couple of you did as well. So, here tis again, with some updates 'specially for y'all.

-- Shoplifted: A bikini in February when I was 17. I got caught. I had to strip in front of a bunch of mall security guards. It was mortifying. Food when I lived on the street.

most likely...Rockford College is too expensive for my tastes. NIU is relatively close, and I've heard good things.

Rockford College can give out enough in financial aid to make it as affordable as NIU though. So I wouldn't totally cross it off your list.

I figure I'll look into both, just to weigh my options and to see who has the better computer science program. Ultimately, that's going to be what sways my vote. I plan on finishing my associate's at Rock Valley, and then transferring. I've even considered Uni of WI at Madison, but the whole not being a resident of that particular state and having increased tuition thing sucks. I'd like to not have to commute to school, but I will if I have to. How did you like NIU when you went?

Overall, I liked it. I have a friend who graduated from the computer science program. He is getting his master's at NIU now.

Look at Beloit College too. They have a scholarship agreement with RVC or at least they did when I went there.

It was actually cheaper for me to go to Beloit with scholarships than it was for me to go to UIUC.

If you get your associate's at RVC then all of your gen eds are forgiven and you go in as a junior to any state school. Saves a lot of money. But then all you have left to take are your courses in your major which can get hairy at times.
