Your pupster is beautiful! You must have been thrilled to see him post bath, eh?
How long have you had him?

ive had him for almost 2 years (April 15th).I was in my apartment getting out of my work clothes and i looked out the window and he was just walking down the middle of the street(a pretty busy street) so i ran downstairs in my skivvies and called him and he came running over and just sat down right next to me and gave me the paw.
my neighbors said that he had been roaming the neighborhood for a couple of weeks and he wouldnt come to anyone, so i guess it was meant to be.(and i had just bought one of those already cooked chickens for dinner and i bribed him with it) We moved to Canada that August and he is even happier here.(no humidity)
all i can say is he cleans up nice...(which is more than i can say for myself) images/smiley_icons/icon_razz.gif

well its suprisingly easy....first you need a white carpet, then whenever it is muddy or rainy out (which is all the time in Vancouver) you just let him run into the house onto the white carpet and most of the dirt just ends up on the carpet. after awhile he starts to look really clean compared to the carpet images/smiley_icons/icon_razz.gif
no really he just sheds dirt like you wouldnt believe....well i think he just sheds the dirty hair and he stays pretty clean. he only gets a bath every couple of months....just lots and lots of brushing.
He is purdy! This cat-person wants to hug on your monkey!

Oh...I hope his eyes are okay...
Something tells me the inconvenience this caused your ex gives you a little joy...

no, not at all...we are super great friends still...i am a little bitter about not having the monkey...but now i live 3000 km away so i cant really complain, plus she is the best dog mom in the world...
i was laughing cause i know how stubborn he can be with small furry things and i can picture my ex (120lbs soaking wet) trying to drag an 85lb dog off a spraying skunk...
its good it got him in the face cause the rest of him is long hair...he didnt seem to mind the spray in the eyes...hes crazy like that.

Why does the US have to be the only country in the world that is not metric? I see things like that and wonder
"OK a kilometer is a little more than a mile, right? Or is it a yard?"
Yeah, I didn't pay attention the WEEK they covered this in school.
But back on topic....
AHAHAHAAHHA I don't know your ex but picturing a small woman, huge furry dog and a skunk is enough for a chuckle.
Do only the parts that actually get hit by the spray of the skunk smell bad and have to be treated, or
is it one of those if you are in the proximity you stink?

i saw them both the other day and he doesn't even stink at all! amazing! although he is blinking alot. joy said he barely seemed to notice that he got sprayed...he just stood there blinking and acting all proud that he'd noticed a small furry thing while she was freaking out about the skunk going at them both.
he is sooo cute. joy just rolled her eyes at what a goof he is.

at least he is okay and not stinky. skunk smell is the worst. i was camping once [figures the one time i go camping something happens] and my doggie got sprayed all over. it was so gross. i can still remember the smell like it just happened. *shudder*
