Seems the *tweaking* of my roster has done me little good but I will keep doing it until I find the magic....I can't even look back in regret for not sticking with certain players...It isn't as if they have gone on to do great things after I dumped them so I feel as though I am making tiny inroads with the changes...

I also complained that I had shaved my legs for nothing since they didn't make me even take my pants off.

I guess I declared my love for my ex-now-undetermined too.

Luckily they didn't let me have my phone so it prevented any anesthesic-induced dialing to tell her how I felt.

Ok, I'm reading the rules---Maybe y'all want to read the rules as well on !Yahoo and I'll post the basics here::::


<font color="darkblue">Each week, you choose an eight-man team from among three groupings of golfers. Then, before each round, you will select a starting foursome. Between rounds you can bring reserves off your bench to take the place of struggling starters.

The challenge is not only to pick the best team week in and week out, but also to manage your team in a way that produces the highest possible fantasy score.

Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Golf is a weekly game that begins on Thursday, February 3 and runs through the end of The Tour Championship on Sunday, November 6.
In addition, the season will be broken down into two halves. The first half begins with the FBR Open (February 3-6) and ends with the US Open (June 16-19). The second half starts with the Barclays Classic (June 23-26) and runs through The Tour Championship (November 3-6).

All groups will have a scoring column for each half of the season, as well as a third that shows the overall score earned by your team.

(Oh fuck, it's a LONG season!!!)

The game is comprised of weekly contests that begin on Monday and conclude on Sunday, unless a Monday playoff is required to decide a real-life tournament winner.

The deadline to add golfers to your roster for the upcoming tournament is each Thursday morning at 2:00 a.m. PT.

You may create a new team once the current week's tournament has begun, but you will not receive fantasy points for any rounds already completed or underway.

The option to create a team while a tournament is in progress is available only on the day you sign up for the game. Otherwise, your participation will not begin until the next tournament.


All users--regardless of group affiliation--are tracked on the overall leaderboard.</font>

OMG, we have forever and a day---Feb 3rd I think and it doesn't seem to be like FFL from what I have been reading....I get the impression that we can share players....I haffta go over the rules more....You can only use a player like 10 times and then he is off your eligibility list, etc....You can pick your teams and rotate players for EACH ROUND OF A TOURNAMENT---so you aren't stuck with the same crappy foursome the whole weekend....

So, in a nutshell, we have oodles of time for R&D....

I think I will start a separate thread for FGL..... images/smiley_icons/icon_surprised.gif This way we can really piss and moan there instead of in the footieball thread....
